Description

  • solo form.
  • Offers multi/single spark switchable mode,
  • running/road mode,
  • RPM limiter and electric kick/start mode,
  • no PC required.
  • This HI-4N module was manufactured by Crane, now by S&S.
  • Nothing has changed except the name.
  • Same great technique, same reliable electronics.
  • The HI-4N offers more options than the popular HI-4, with even better reliability.
  • The HI-4N is equipped with single/dual switchable focus (with integrated ignition, multi/single, stroke/road mode, RPM limiter and electric kick/start mode).
  • Easy initial static setup with built-in LED synchronization light.
  • The sensor housing contains fully encapsulated electronic components to withstand vibration, moisture and dust and are mounted directly on the metal housing that acts as a heat sink to prevent overheating.
  • Easy adjustment with 4 rotary switches that offer perfect precision.
  • Note: Compatible with 2-3 Ohm coils. It is recommended to use ignition modules and coils from the same manufacturer.
  • Mixing different brands can cause premature failure.
  • Note: The ignition rotor (OEM 32402-83) and mounting bolt (2611B) must be ordered separately or reused.
  • The rotor is available with the code AW038897.
  • Note: The difference between single dual fire explained:
  • Dual fire -
    • This is how the previous, pre-Twin Cam engines work.
    • A single coil is used, and both candles light up at the same time.
    • This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' is sometimes dice that the spark is a theft of horses.
  • Single Fire
    • This is how Twin Cam motors from 00 upwards work.
    • Two separate coils will light the spark plugs independently and solo the cylinder candle that is being compressed will be lit.
    • It dice that these engines vibrate less and can improve power.
    • Effects will become more pronounced with warmer camme and higher RPM
