Description

  • The 3" pulleys and clutch hubs are cast in aluminium 356-T6 and machined in foundry and BDL machining operations
  • This kit uses the clutch hub and clutch as standard,
  • The kit includes:
    • 1 clutch basket with 72 teeth
    • 1 motor pulley with 47 teeth,
    • 1 strap with 8 mm pitch and 141 teeth,
    • 'Big Fix' clutch hub roller bearings
    • 1 complete clutch
  • Some motorcycles with 3" belt drive kits show greater oscillations or greater vibrations, These symptoms derive from the fact that the 3" belt kits protrude particularly and therefore any errors in processing or choice of material have a particularly strong effect, which however is not particularly advantageous for the durability of the main drive shaft.
  • In the case of BDL belt kits, the entire clutch package is moved inwards, which reliably eliminates this problem.
  • The clutch basket is driven in a double-grooved ball bearing, which ensures the perfect functioning of the clutches BDL.
  • The toothed belts of the BDL kits are mounted so precisely that there is extremely little friction between the teeth.
