Description

  • The 3" clutch pulleys and hubs are cast from 356-T6 aluminium and machined in foundry and BDL machining operations
  • The kit includes:
    • 1 x 72-tooth clutch basket
    • 1 x 47 tooth motor pulley,
    • 1 belt with 8 mm pitch and 141 teeth,
    • 'Big Fix' clutch hub roller bearings
    • 1 x Full clutch
  • Some motorcycles with 3" belt drive kits show more oscillation or more vibration,
  • These symptoms result from the fact that the 3" belt kits protrude particularly and therefore any errors in workmanship or material choice have a particularly strong effect, which is not particularly advantageous for the service life of the main drive shaft.
  • In the case of BDL belt kits, the entire clutch package is moved inwards, which reliably eliminates this problem.
  • The clutch basket is guided in a double-grooved ball bearing, which ensures the perfect functioning of the clutches BDL.
  • The timing belts of the BDL kits are mounted so precisely that there is extremely little friction between the teeth.
